Running from Daddy

Tucker has discovered the joy of being "chased". As soon as she realizes Daddy is after her, she picks up the pace and giggles hysterically. It's FABULOUS!!!

Ba-ba-ba-ba-ba

Doing a little video catch-up! If this doesn't make you smile and give you a pick-me-up, then nothing will! :-)
And now for my favorite -- Watch her mouth even when you don't hear sounds. She likes to warm her lips up before actually talking. I also love how raspberries are part of the conversation in Tucker's world.

9 month pictures

We got the online version of Tucker's 9 months pics last night. This girl is just TOO cute! (And might I add I think the people at the Target in Woodstock take GREAT baby pictures!)
This first grouping is my favorite. I love all three of the pics of her standing using our fingers. I adore her expressions and I LOVE being able to see all the rolls on those legs!!! :-D

I love a silhouette picture - always have! The lighting and sepia tone of this one make her look even more angelic than she already is!

Nan bought Tucker her first pair of pearls and I thought they'd be great for some naked baby pics (especially since Tucker IS the daughter of the pearl girl).

A Slice of Heaven

At Tucker's 9 month check-up yesterday, we discovered that she had a double ear infection for which she had been showing no other symptoms (other than her temp last week which we marked up to other things). After just a day of antibiotics, you can already see how much better she feels. She wasn't crying or really whining before, but it's easy to see by comparison that she must have been feeling bad because she woke up this morning vivacious and full of smiles - even more than usual. Such a cutie!!!

She Has Such a Hard Time Relaxing

On Saturday afternoon, we took Tucker to get her 9 months pictures at Target. After that, we walked around the store to get a few things here and there. She just seemed SO VERY uncomfortable the whole time. ;)

Her Day in the Sun

Saturday, during our visit with Paw, Nona, and Paw Paw, we decided to spend some more time in the back yard. I remembered that we had bought a pop-up tent for Tucker last summer, so I brought it out for some shade. Much fun was had!!! (Please note our excess of sun protection in the last few pictures. These are for Papa's benefit. haha) :-)

Man I'm glad it's spring (ish)!!!

Paw Paw's Cane

Paw, Nona and Paw Paw came to visit me on Saturday. There were many highlights to this day, but one of my favorite moments was playing with Paw Paw and his cane. Do they make one of these in my size? :-)

9 Months Old

On March 6, our little girl turned 9 months old. Here's some shots from the day. Can you believe how big and CUTE she's gotten?!?

A Day with My Granna

Thursday at daycare, I fell and bumped my head. I got my VERY FIRST knot. (Please notice I say FIRST, as being my mother's daughter, I'm sure there will be more.) On top of all that, I then ended up with a 101+ temperature on Thursday night. The temperature was NOT fun, but the up side was that my Granna came and spent the day with me on Friday while Mommy and Daddy worked. :-) She read me books, took me on walks, and played with me in the back yard. It was SO much fun!!!

A Retrospective

Our little girl turned 9 months old today. As I thought about how quickly time has flown and how much she has grown, I decided to share that with you as well.

A Little More Savannah

A few last images from our weekend in Savannah:

Tucker meeting Anton Armstrong, the conductor of the St. Olaf Choir
*for those of you who don't know, he is Musical Royalty :-)

T discovered the art of drawer opening, closing, and climbing in the hotel room. :-)

My child is just TOO, TOO fabulous!!!

Trouble with a capital "T"

While sitting in the lobby of the Civic Center in Savannah, Tucker took it upon herself to begin climbing the stairs. She was after Madeline's sippy cup and nothing was going to stop her. I almost FELL OUT!!! :-)

She made it up three stairs before she finally realized I was moving the cup over and over again and, thus, gave up. :-)
